The Sakura at Night

Came back to Tokyo on Sunday
and the cherry blossoms were still here!

Cherry blossoms at night are called Yozakura in Japanese.
Even though they are the same cherry blossoms in the afternoon.

The way I look at it is...
cherry blossoms at night were so special
someone thought it deserved its own special name.

Pretty spectacular, right?

    1. They would have to be something beyond spectacular to get me to walk through those white fox guardians at night! hehe.

    2. You could turn into a fox woman yourself! Or ... just ask a friendly local foreign guide to protect you with powerful magic from Africa. :D
